“The Kilimanjaro Dream Project”:
In 2008, we run a campaign whereby all our children wrote their dream on a piece of paper. The dreams were then physically carried all the way to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. On the back of this campaign, we are now busy making 12 dreams come true. These dreams will take place between September and December 2009 and will include: visits to Ushaka Marine World in Durban, attending an international cricket game, a guided tour of Bloemfontein, meeting a Generations actress, a visit to Robben Island, a ride in a captive hot air balloon. Children of the Dawn - Our Activities
Lenyenye
Children of the Dawn started its activities in Lenyenye in October 2007 and now sponsors 45 children there.

- Aged from 5 to 13
- 23 boys, 22 girls<
- 34 children orphaned, probably through AIDS, or living with an HIV-positive parent, 11 vulnerable children
- Schooling: from Grade 1 to Grade 7
- 2 aftercare centres: Moime centre and Boitumelo centre, which children attend every day
- 4 dedicated caregivers rooted in Community Responsiveness Programmes (CRP)
- Nutrition programme: food parcels, feeding scheme at aftercare centres, fortified mealie meal taken at the aftercare centres for health boosting through vitamins and nutrients
- Life skills education, homework support and extra-mural activities
- Health, psychological, and emotional support activities
- Background work to obtain social grants.
