Une rencontre entre 11 de nos \u00e9tudiants du Gauteng<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Il y a 16 ans, lors des d\u00e9buts de Children of the Dawn, notre programme s\u2019adressait aux jeunes enfants. Avec le temps, nous avons d\u00e9lib\u00e9r\u00e9ment adopt\u00e9 le principe de \u00ab\u00a0grandir avec l\u2019enfant\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> afin d\u2019accompagner nos b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires vers une vie adulte ind\u00e9pendante et productive. Durant ces derni\u00e8res 4 \u00e0 5 ann\u00e9es, nous avons aid\u00e9 un certain nombre de nos jeunes enfants \u00e0 s\u2019orienter vers une \u00e9ducation sup\u00e9rieure. Et c\u2019est justement l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat de notre programme\u00a0: voir nos jeunes b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires grandir !<\/p>\n

Le 21 avril, nous avons organis\u00e9 une rencontre entre 11 de nos \u00e9tudiants du Gauteng ainsi que trois anciens b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires qui ont aujourd\u2019hui un emploi.<\/p>\n

Le but de cet atelier \u00e9tait le renforcement des r\u00e9seaux de nos \u00e9tudiants<\/strong> afin qu\u2019ils puissent se soutenir moralement et au quotidien, si n\u00e9cessaire. Au programme\u00a0: l\u2019employabilit\u00e9, la r\u00e9daction d\u2019un bon CV et la pr\u00e9paration d\u2019un entretien d\u2019embauche. L\u2019\u00e9tiquette \u00e0 suivre dans les m\u00e9dias sociaux a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 abord\u00e9e car il est important de savoir comment nos empreintes sur les r\u00e9seaux peuvent affecter les choix d\u2019un futur employeur.<\/p>\n

A cette occasion, nous avons remis deux ordinateurs portables<\/strong> \u00e0 Zweli d\u2019Ermelo et Wandile de Mangweni\u00a0; ces dons leur seront tr\u00e8s utiles.<\/p>\n

Actuellement, nous comptons 63 \u00e9tudiants universitaires<\/strong> qui ont grandi dans nos rangs. Originaires de huit r\u00e9gions rurales, ils sont orphelins ou consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme vuln\u00e9rables. Nous consid\u00e9rons que ce nombre est une preuve forte de la pertinence de notre programme de soutien.<\/p>\n
