Go South Africa! Go!

Mid 2021, the Amateur Athletic Union of the United States (AAU) vetted by the International Rope-Skipping Organization (IRSO) hosted a hybrid Rope Skipping competition which witnessed young talent from all around the world. Children of the Dawn, through it’s consistent effort and investment in sports through it’s 4th pillar (Sports for Good), entered three of its beneficiaries into this esteemed competition. Namely (from left to right on the picture) Limakatso (16) from Matatiele, Sihle (21) from Mpumaze & Mbali (16) from Mangweni. With training and guidance from @Amabhuto jumpers and funded by @Laureus Sports for Good, these champions immerged in the top 10 of the overall participants within the competition in the category: Masters Overall. Their results were as follows;
Males 18-Over, Sihle made it 7th place.
Females 15-17, Limakatso made it 6th place & Mbali made it in 7th place.
These young champions have done exceptionally well and flown the South African flag as well as the @departmentofsport,arts&culture HIGH. They continue to make Children of the Dawn, their families & their humble villages PROUD! Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga & KZN- STAND UP!
With encouragement and support- not even the sky can limit them.
Well done stars. Well done!
