Celebrating Our April 2026 Graduates: A Season of Achievement and New Beginnings

In April 2026, Children of the Dawn proudly celebrated the graduation of two outstanding beneficiaries, Katleho Molangeni and Mlungisi Mathabo. Their achievements are a testament to their hard work, determination and the importance of providing young people with the support they need to reach their goals. Katleho Molangeni, from the rural community of Hlatseng near the Monontsha border gate in Qwaqwa, graduated with a Diploma in Information and Communication Technology (Application Development), Cum Laude. Despite facing challenges at home, Katleho remained committed to his studies and used his circumstances as motivation to succeed. He is grateful for the support he received throughout his educational journey and hopes to continue his studies, with the long-term goal of obtaining a PhD.

We also celebrated Mlungisi Mathabo from our Mpumaze Centre, who graduated from Tshwane University of Technology with a qualification in Language Practice. His achievement reflects years of dedication, resilience and commitment to his education. Mlungisi’s success shows what young people can achieve when they have access to education, mentorship and continued support. The graduation of Katleho and Mlungisi is more than a personal achievement. It is a celebration of hope, perseverance and the power of education. Their journeys serve as an inspiration to other Children of the Dawn beneficiaries, showing them that their circumstances do not have to determine their future.

At Children of the Dawn, we are proud to walk alongside our beneficiaries throughout their educational journeys. Through educational support, mentorship and holistic care, we help young people overcome challenges, build confidence and work towards brighter futures. We congratulate Katleho and Mlungisi on their remarkable achievements and wish them every success as they begin this exciting new chapter. Their stories remind us that when young people are given the right support and opportunities, they can achieve extraordinary things.

Congratulations, Katleho and Mlungisi! Your journeys are an inspiration to us all.
